After Tanjirou Kamado's father passed away, the responsibility of taking care of the family fell on his shoulders. Despite living in poverty on a secluded mountain, the Kamado family managed to find happiness in their peaceful life. One day, Tanjirou decided to venture down to the nearby village to earn some money by selling charcoal.
